I’m a Nashville-based professional artist, author, and creative educator working primarily in soft pastel. For more than a decade, I’ve been teaching people how to make art feel less intimidating, especially those who arrive convinced they aren’t creative.
I began my professional art career in 2012. Since then, my work has reached audiences around the world, with clients including Starbucks, Anthropologie, Food Network, and TLC. My art has been featured by Martha Stewart Living, Good Housekeeping, Good Morning America, Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV, and USA Today.
Something happens when a group of people sits down together and works with color.
The room gets quieter at first. People settle in. Breathing slows. Phones disappear. Then, little by little, the room opens up. People laugh, encourage each other, and become absorbed in what they’re making.
And by the end, someone almost always says some version of the same thing:
“I didn’t know I could do that!”
The artwork goes home with them. I hope the feeling does, too.
I bring the experience to you, whether that’s your hotel, convention center, retreat venue, or gathering space in Nashville. For experiences elsewhere in Middle Tennessee and beyond, I’m happy to talk through what’s possible.
