A Creative Sanctuary for Women Who Want More Beauty and Creativity in Their Lives
Join hundreds of women rediscovering creativity inside Magic Makers.
By the end of the day, your mind is tired.
You’ve spent the entire day thinking for other people.
So when evening finally arrives, you sit down and open your phone.
You scroll past beautiful things.
Things other people have made.
You admire the beauty.
But you rarely make anything yourself.
Not because you don’t want to…
But because life has become so full.
Magic Makers was created to bring creativity back into the rhythm of your everyday life.
No long-term commitment. Just an invitation to begin.
WELCOME TO
Magic Makers is a creative membership where thoughtful women rediscover the joy of making beautiful things.
Inside the community, you’ll learn to create luminous pastel artwork while building a creative ritual you can return to whenever you need it.
It’s not about becoming a professional artist.
It’s about giving creativity a place in your life again.
Most women arrive wanting to learn how to paint.
WHAT THEY DISCOVER IS SOMETHING DEEPER.
A quiet, creative rhythm that brings calm back into their evenings, color back into their lives, and a sense of aliveness they may not have felt in a long time.
This is something I do for myself, to support the parts of me that often get pushed aside. It helps me attune to myself and the world around me.
BREANNE R.
Creativity gives you time back.
Many women believe they’ll return to creativity later.
→ When work slows down.
→ When life becomes less demanding.
→ When they finally have more time.
But something subtle happens when creativity disappears from our lives.
Everything begins to feel heavier.
OUR DAYS BECOME FILLED WITH INPUT
Emails
Meetings
Notifications
Endless Scrolling
WE CONSUME CONSTANTLY.
But we rarely create anything ourselves.
And over time, that imbalance creates something many women know well.
BURNOUT
Not just physical exhaustion, but a quiet emotional depletion.
Beauty is one of the most overlooked antidotes to burnout.
When you sit down and create something with your hands, something begins to shift.
Your breathing slows.
Your mind settles.
Your attention returns to the present moment.
Instead of draining you, creativity restores your energy.
This is why so many women inside Magic Makers say the same thing:
“I thought I didn’t have time for this… but it’s the thing that makes everything else feel easier.”
Making art doesn’t require life to slow down first.
Often, it is what helps life feel spacious again.
What Your Evenings Could Feel Like
Screen time becomes soul time.
Heavy days soften.
Your breath slows.
Blank pages bloom with color.
Instead of ending the day with
another hour of scrolling…
Imagine this…
A candle lit.
A warm cup of tea beside you.
Pastels spread across the table.
Soft music playing quietly in the background.
You make the first mark.
At first your mind is still full of the day.
But slowly something shifts.
For an hour, nothing is expected of you except to create.
Just color, curiosity, and the quiet pleasure of making something beautiful.
When you stand up from the table, something inside you feels different.
This is the rhythm Magic Makers helps you build.
“Magic Makers has reawakened creativity in all areas of my life. Every month I’m challenged by the theme, trying new things and actually making art instead of just thinking about it! I love being part of the Magic Makers community. It’s so encouraging to be surrounded with others on the same creative path and to have support when you need it.”

Where Skill and Wonder Meet
Most creative spaces fall into one of two extremes.
EXTREME #1
Some focus only on playful expression.
Everything is casual.
Everything is experimental.
Nothing is taught.
At first, this can feel freeing.
But for many thoughtful women, it eventually becomes unsatisfying.
Because they enjoy learning.
They enjoy developing skills.
They enjoy watching themselves improve.
EXTREME #2
Other art spaces go to the opposite extreme.
They become technical.
Rigid.
Focused on critique and performance.
Instead of feeling creative, it starts to feel like another place to be evaluated.
You become more focused on outcome than experience.
More aware of how it looks than how it feels.
And creativity starts to feel like pressure.
Magic Makers lives somewhere much more beautiful
Here, learning and wonder live side by side.
You’ll develop real artistic skill.
And you’ll rediscover curiosity, imagination, and play.
Creativity becomes something joyful again.
Inside the Magic Makers Membership
Your membership includes a rich, creative environment designed to help you build a sustainable art practice.
Step into a thoughtfully designed creative environment that supports both artistic growth and emotional restoration.
Magic Makers unfolds through a gentle monthly rhythm of creativity, inspiration, and connection with live creative sessions at the heart of the experience.
Being a part of this community has quite literally changed my life. I have created more art in the past 5 months than I have in the last 15 years.
Before joining, I felt creatively lost. This community has completely reignited my creative spark, and has given me a soft, encouraging, and healing place to experience joy and passion again.
It has brought beauty back into all areas of my life, and reminded me that the beauty I see in nature is not mundane, but something meaningful to explore and create from.
“I need to take this class. I think it’s going to change my life.”
That’s what I said before joining — even during a time when money was tight and it felt like a risk to invest in myself.
And it truly did change my life.
I will be forever grateful for the creative path it has set me on, and for everything this community has given me. It’s so easy to feel like art doesn’t matter in a world that constantly tells you it doesn’t — but this space reminds you that it does.

Meet Valerie McKeehan
Your creative guide
Valerie McKeehan is a professional soft pastel artist and the founder of the Magic Makers Community.
Her work lives at the intersection of art, beauty, and emotional well-being.
Over the past several years, Valerie has taught thousands of students through her workshops and membership.
But her work goes deeper than technique.
Creativity is not simply a hobby.
It is a human need.
Creating art quiets the mind, restores curiosity, and reconnects us with beauty and presence.
Magic Makers was created to give women a beautiful and welcoming place to reconnect with creativity and the part of themselves that feels most alive.
What Begins To Change
Most women join Magic Makers because they want to learn art.
But the changes they experience often reach further than they expected.
Evenings become calmer.
Scrolling slowly gets replaced with creating.
Curiosity returns.
Color returns.
AND MANY MEMBERS SAY SOMETHING BEAUTIFULLY SIMPLE:
“I feel like myself again.”
Creativity becomes a meaningful rhythm in everyday life.

A Few Weeks From Now
Your evenings begin to feel different.
Not dramatically different.
Just quietly better.
Instead of automatically reaching for your phone, you find yourself looking forward to your creative time.
Your pastels are waiting on the table.
You sit down and begin to paint.
Some nights it’s twenty minutes.
Some nights longer.
BUT EACH TIME YOU NOTICE THE SAME THING
Your mind settles.
Your shoulders relax.
The noise of the day fades into the background.
And slowly something returns that may have felt distant for a long time.
This is the creative rhythm Magic Makers was designed to support.

This isn’t about having the “perfect” setup.
It’s about sitting down and letting yourself start.
Not sure what supplies to get? Here is a great place to start.
Nope!
The live calls are a cozy bonus if you love creating together, but many members watch the replays on their own time. You won’t miss anything by not attending live.

Both are beautiful.

New videos, workshops, and inspiration are added every month. There’s always something fresh waiting for you.
Signature members get access to our private Facebook group. A warm, encouraging space where women share their art, chat, ask questions, and cheer each other on.
It’s optional, but most members say it becomes one of their favorite parts.
Yes!
While we love soft pastels and that is the primary medium Valerie teaches, Magic Makers is really about creativity, inspiration, and play. Members use watercolor, acrylic, gouache, digital, mixed media, and more.
