Valerie McKeehan is a professional soft pastel artist and the founder of the Magic Makers Community.
Her work lives at the intersection of art, beauty, and emotional well-being.
Over the past several years, Valerie has taught thousands of students through her workshops and membership.
But her work goes deeper than technique.
Creativity is not simply a hobby.

You don’t need much at all to begin.
In fact, starting with a small, simple set of soft pastels is often the most enjoyable way to learn. It removes the overwhelm of too many choices and allows you to really see how a few colors can work together.
Inside Magic Makers, you will find beginner resources to guide you in a way that works beautifully with a limited palette so you can begin with what you have and build over time if you want to.
This isn’t about having the “perfect” setup.
It’s about sitting down and letting yourself start.

The live calls are a cozy bonus if you love creating together, but many members watch the replays on their own time. You won’t miss anything by not attending live.
