By purchasing a ticket to the Pursuit Creative Retreat (“Retreat”), you (“Participant”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions with Lily & Val LLC / Valerie McKeehan / Lotus Blu Book Art / Moneeza Kahn (“Organizer,” “we,” “us”).
1) Eligibility & Age Requirement
Participant must be 18 years of age or older on the Retreat start date.
A government-issued photo ID may be required at check-in.
2) Reservation, Payment & Fees
Your spot is secured upon successful payment (or deposit + active payment plan).
Prices are in USD. Participant is responsible for any bank, card, currency conversion, or platform fees.
Chargebacks are not permitted for services delivered as described; you agree to contact support before disputing a charge.
3) Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers
48-Hour Refund Window: You may request a refund within 48 hours of purchase. Refunds are issued minus credit card/payment processing fees and may take up to 10 days to appear.
After 48 hours, all sales are final.
Transfers: You may transfer your ticket to another person no later than 30 days prior to the Retreat start date by emailing [email protected]. The transferee must meet all eligibility requirements and agree to these Terms in writing.
No partial refunds for late arrival, early departure, or missed activities.
4) Mandatory Travel Insurance (Required)
You must purchase travel insurance that, at minimum, covers trip cancellation/interruption, medical care/emergency evacuation abroad, and lost/stolen property.
Proof of travel insurance is required and must be provided upon request and no later than 30 days before the Retreat. Failure to provide proof may result in cancellation of your attendance without refund.
5) Travel Documents & Not Included Items
Participant is solely responsible for valid passports, visas, entry requirements, and compliance with UK laws. The following are not included in your ticket price:
Airfare to and from the UK.
Transportation to and from the retreat location (guidance provided).
Personal shopping or souvenirs.
Additional wine or alcohol outside of hosted gatherings.
Optional activities during free time.
6) Lodging & Room Assignments
If you purchase a single, double-occupancy ticket, you understand you will share a room with another attendee who you may not know.
We will attempt to accommodate rooming requests for friends/family when notified at the time of purchase (include a note at checkout and email [email protected]).
Requests are not guaranteed.
Organizer reserves the right to adjust room assignments for safety, logistics, or other reasonable purposes.
7) Health, Safety & Conduct
You affirm you are physically and mentally able to participate and will disclose any relevant health conditions, allergies, or dietary needs in advance.
You agree to follow all safety instructions and venue rules.
The Organizer may remove any participant for disruptive, inappropriate, or unsafe behavior without refund.
8) Assumption of Risk & Liability Release
You understand travel and retreat activities involve inherent risks (including but not limited to transportation, terrain, weather, food, alcohol consumption, illness, injury, and theft).
You voluntarily assume all risks and agree that the Organizer, its owners, contractors, hosts, and venues are not liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, delay, or expense you may incur.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer from claims arising out of your actions, omissions, or violations of these Terms.
9) Itinerary & Changes
The itinerary is subject to change at any time and is not guaranteed. Activities, instructors, venues, and schedules may shift due to weather, availability, safety, or other considerations.
10) Force Majeure
If the Retreat is delayed, rescheduled, or canceled due to causes beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions, flight disruptions, severe weather), the Organizer may reschedule or provide credit toward a future event at its discretion. Cash refunds are not guaranteed in these cases.
11) Media Consent
By attending, you grant permission to be photographed/recorded and for Organizer to use such media for marketing and documentation, without additional compensation.
If you prefer not to be featured, notify us in writing before the Retreat, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate.
12) Alcohol & Local Law Compliance
Where alcohol is served, you agree to drink responsibly and comply with all local laws and venue policies.
Organizer may refuse service or participation related to alcohol at its discretion for safety.
13) Communications
Official communications will be sent to the email used at purchase. It is your responsibility to read pre-departure instructions and provide requested information by stated deadlines.
14) Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, USA, without regard to conflicts of law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee.
15) Acceptance
By checking the box and completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
