It’s fitting for both. If you’ve never tried pastel or landscape painting before, this will be an excellent way to learn in an accelerated course.
If you have experience with pastel you will also gain valuable insight and techniques to further your art practice.

The vehicle is soft pastel landscapes but the course is so much more!
I can’t talk about landscape painting and soft pastel without talking about the heart of it all because it’s been life-changing for me.
It’s a new way of seeing the world and it’s magic.
I will equip you with the technical side of pigment to paper and the internal side of creating so you can feel confident and joyful.

You do not need to have everything on the list to get a ton of out of the course! By all means use what you have. That said, I do think professional art supplies make a big difference. I built the supply list to make it simple so that you could have exactly what I’ll be using throughout the course.

Yes. Since I’m running it as a LIVE course, space is limited to give everyone a great experience.
Yes it can! Especially if your goal is to capture landscapes. There are a lot of fundamentals to landscape paintings; hue, value, aerial perspective, composition, etc. that will translate to any medium. We will be covering all of that.
Beyond art instruction, the course also has a focus on mindset that all artists can benefit from.
Yes. Since I’m running this one LIVE and not pre-recorded sign-ups will close prior to September 23rd (or sooner) depending on how many people sign up as there are limited slots available as well.
There is not a set number of hours of video calls at this point because it is live, however at a minimum I am anticipating 3 hours per week across two video calls. One video call per week will be a painting instruction accompanied with worksheets and any needed additional info to learn. The second call will be a Q&A + critiques.
The Summer 2023 session yielded over 30 hours of video which are INCLUDED in your program for DOUBLE THE LEARNING!
